Topics that most will deal with this month:

Retrograde

Mercury will be in retrograde from December 26th through January 15th 2010.  Murcury rules communication.  When it is spinning backwards, so is every piece of communication flowing in the universe.  If you pay attention to it, then you can be sure to have a positive outcome.  Make sure that the message gets through.  Double check on your e-mail, fax or voice mail.  Also, make sure your conversations and messages are understood.  If you think someone might not understand, take the time and patience to explain again. If you are asked to sign any legal documents, try to put it off until after the 15th.  If you can't put it off, look it over several times, and ask someone you trust to look it over at least twice.  Chances are you will be re-signing again at a later date anyway.  Have patience with your PC and guard against viruses.  Traveling may be difficult.  Allow for extra time during your travels.  If your traveling by air, make sure your layovers have plenty of time.  If by car, check your GPS batteries ahead of time. Are you catching my drift?  Anything that aides in communication (including travel) should be tripple checked!

Anger

Anger can be either positive or negative, depending on what it's used for.  From a negative perspective, this month, we will all be affected by the energy of Anger as either the giver or the receiver.  It will be very easy to loose our cool if we allow it.  The vibe is "in the air" so to speak and will be very difficult to avoid.  In order to remain connected to our life purpose, we must remind ourselves not to react and more importantly not to judge others who react with anger.  The key is to pro-actively bite our tongues.  If you feel like acting out in anger, then tell yourself not to give into it.

Every time that anger is released into the universe, it causes a chain reaction of negative events.  If instead, when we feel the anger arise within us, we create a positive action as retaliation to the anger, then we can change our lives and the lives of those around us.

Anger can also be used in a positive manner, to drive change.  Anger is a very passionate emotion.  This is why so many people push themselves in this month to make New Years resolutions.  We have the ability to get angry at ourselves this month.  Angry enough to make us loose weight, to quit smoking, to eat healthy, to give more to our families, to be less selfish and more giving.  The key is to remember this anger all year long and keep the positive anger as a motivator, allowing it to drive us towards better behaviors.

Business Relationships

This is also the month where we need to mind our people skills.  Even if idol chit chat is not your cup of tea, it is wise to try to engage in it.  Pay attention to work relationships as they can be grown this month with ease.  If you spend time this month tending to the weeds in your garden (surrounding your place of work), the next few months will be showing you the fruits of your labor.  I expect that the opportunity to be a friend to your work colleagues will arise often and with people you don't expect.  Focus on being hardworking and expressing your interest in your co-workers lives, celebrations as well as their trials and tribulations.  Be a supportive shoulder and make sure to keep everything you are told in confidence to yourself.
